Nicole got Molly at the age of 11 and has helped her through daily radiotherapy and aided her recovery following a brain haemorrhage.  Two years later Nicole who is now blind and disabled got Daizy; she and Molly are always sitting on Nicole’s lap and she feels she honestly wouldn't have been able to get through life without them.

Sasha

Since getting Sasha, Joanne’s depression has faded away and she has stopped self harming. Joanne also suffers from epilepsy but has fewer fits now and when she does Sasha is always beside her making sure she is safe. Without her Joanne says she would have possibly seriously harmed herself and would no longer be here.

Shadow

Jessica has Aspergers, anxiety and depression and Shadow has helped her to get out and about more as well as comfort her whenever she’s upset. Since having him Jessica has stopped self-harming, which she was doing daily, and has not had any suicide attempts. She calls Shadow her lifeline.
